After his F1 disaster, Vincenzo raced in America but injury led to his retirement from racing sportscars. For a long time now, Vincenzo has been a team boss. He has a team in GT World Challenge Asia powered by AWS and the Italian GT Sprint and Endurance Championships (under the VS Racing banner) and the International GT Open series and GT World Challenge Europe. Since Sospiri has run the team, many drivers have moved onto F1 drives - including Robert Kubica, Jerome D'Ambrosio and Vitaly Petrov.
