Road racing legend, who started racing in the 1930's. Won the Targa Florio in 1952. Killed in the Carrera Panamericana whilst leading the race when he crashed into a house. Son Roberto later became a top motorsport journalist. Bonetto was a unlikely top-line driver by the 1950's - he was in his late 40's, overweight and a pipe smoker but - crucially - he was also fast and brave. Before racing cars, Felice started racing on motorcycles back in 1926 before switching to cars in 1931.
