Mainly in touring cars after leaving Formula 1, where he won the 1997 Italian Touring car series, but then switched to GT's and ALMS before finishing in the Italian Porsche Carrera Cup Series. Now retired, and lives in Ancona, where he became a driver-manager, instructor and then a businessman, who was involved in corporate racing events. Emanuele also won the 1988 Italian Formula 3 championship and was a regular winner in International Formula 3000. Emanuele also spent time in Japan after his relatively brief Grand Prix spell.
