Released a book about his life in motorcycles and cars, just before his death, in his home town of Pesaro. Dorino started on two wheels inthe 1930's and became the 1939 European Motorcycle Champion, winning three Grand Prixs'. Dorino chose to go into cars after World War Two, largely racing in sportscars, but had a bad crash in 1947 which left him with mutiple injuries. He returned - eventually - to racing and came 2nd in the Mille Miglia in 1950. He was racing as a works driver for Ferrari during this time before another serious crash - at the Mille Miglia - in 1951 saw him end his career.
