Ran a business in Hertfordshire before emigrating to Australia and then finally, the Philippines. He later became a builder in Australia. Died after being in poor health after a stroke. Married twice, and the children from his 2nd marriage have become a pilot and aerodynamicist respectively. Nuckey's career was quite a short one, which was often spent in Formula 3. Often raced in Scandinavia, and won the 1953 Finnish Grand Prix.
