Killed in a F2 crash. A motorcycle racer and 500cc F3 ace, mainly in Libre races. His son also raced, but Bill died racing the car his son should've driven. Started his career on four wheels in 1949 and proved very adept, very swiftly in Formula 3. A spate of serious accidents had led to two virtual racing retirements before he returned for the third and last fateful time in 1957.
