Spanish nobleman and extrovert killed in the Mille Miglia. Fon was from one of the oldest noble Spanish families, but although this gave him a extravgant, playboy outlook he was down-to-earth and full of fun. A true all-rounder and adventurer, he hunted, swam and played polo internationally, raced as a jockey in two Grand National's and formed and competed for Spain's 1956 Winter Olympic bobsleigh team! A real sportscar ace, he was also in the society pages and was romantically involved with actress Linda Christian.
