Still alive and living in Palermo. Italian nobleman who is still involved in the historic car business, largely in the restoration of old racing sports cars, although Gaetano no longer has direct involvement. He is, however, still involved in the family agricultural and farming business. Starrabba largely confined his racing - at least initially - in his beloved Sicily, where he became a regular in the Targa Florio, entering his own Ferrari 500TR. Gaetano predominantly raced in sportscars and GT events but entered his own Lotus 18 in an ambitious attempt to compete in the Italian Grand Prix in 1961, and then continued to compete in some higher-profile events in his homeland, before finishing racing in 1968, after competing at his last Targa Florio.
