Killed in a Italian Formula 3 race. Real name Giacomo Russo. A wealthy man, he was quite brilliant in Italian Formula Junior, winning the Formula Junior title in 1961, 1962 and 1963 and did well in Italian Formula 3, winning the 1964 Italian Formula 3 title. He was very close to a Ferrari contract to race in Formula 2, but for whatever reason it didn't materialise, instead getting a drive with Lotus in Grand Prix racing and with Alfa Romeo in sports and touring cars, winning his class at the 1966 Sebring 12 Hour race.
