Promising driver, who moved into Italian F3000 and also became Minardi test driver in 2001. But from that role to 2008, he had no regular ride. In 2008, when he returned to racing, Giorgio was driving GT's in his homeland and carried on in endurance racing until 2012. Has since been in Italian Prototypes, drift challenges, the Seat Leon Eurocup, the the Endurance Champions Cup and more recently, the British LMP3 Cup Championship. Giorgio also works as a race instructor. He is also involved in the management and administration of the family garage in Putignano. The dealership sells FIAT, Abarth, Lancia and Alfa Romeo cars. He largely concentrates on his luxury car brokerage and doesn't really race competitively now.
