Angelvy is better known now for his restaurants - running an Indian restaurant, called Poona Lounge, as well as Makoto, a Japanese restaurant, 912, an Italian restaurant and a few cafes all in Paris. Angelvy moved up the ranks, solidly, through French Formula Ford and Formula 3, before moving into Formula 3000. Eric impressed at Pau, qualifying an excellent fifth, but was eliminated, as he was in all his F3000 races, by an accident. His last crash, at Hockenheim, was spectacular and Eric was lucky to survive with only minor injuries after barrel-rolling and was possibly the catalyst for him to stop racing soon after.
