Another driver to find greater success in touring cars than in single-seaters, with many titles. Has raced and won in the British, French, Italian, German, European and World series and was also one of the best drivers in the Andros Ice-Racing series, winning the title 6 years in a row, between 1996 and 2001. Also recently attempted the Dakar rally and even appeared in the World Rally Championship in 2010. Yvan is the brother of former F3000 racer, Cathy. In 2016, Yvan retired from full-time racing to take up a new role as manager of his racing team, which still competes in French GT racing. However, in 2017, Yvan joined Volvo and their World Touring Car Championship team as their development driver and senior adviser. In 2018, he made a surprise return to racing, with Volvo, in the World Touring Car Cup and stayed in the series up to 2022. He's racing in the Le Mans Cup in 2024.
