The first Monegasque in Grand Prix racing for some 35 years, Olivier became one of the World's most experienced and respected sportscar and GT drivers, a discipline in which he had been involved in since leaving F1,with a number of titles to his name, including the 1999 FIA GT Championship. Beretta remained involved in Formula 1 until long after his last race of 1994, as he was a test and development driver for Williams from 2003 to 2004. Currently a driver tutor, linked with Ferrari, for whom he drives in exhibition races and historic events, in both the F1 cars and sportscars.
