Son of the late Ronnie, Jeff has been a long time endurance driver who had a few IRL attempts in 2005 and 2006. He also then ran a team, and raced in endurance, but recently has been concentrating on his role as a Camaro ambassador, test driver and coach, although he does do the very infrequent race in them too or in SCCA events. He also is a race instructor and runs an auto racing supply shop in his base in Lake Havasu City. Before racing, Jeff was an accomplished surfer, competing all over the World. Bucknum's son, Spencer, has also raced single-seaters.
