Hugely engaging, personable but often outspoken BBC TV commentator until his death, from a massive heart-attack, in his sleep, at his home in Wimbledon. He also, for some while, bred prize-winning budgies and had a few business interests as well. Hunt was also a superb trumpeter who performed in public occasionally, including at the Royal Albert Hall. 1976 World Champion whose heroics that season, and the many facets of his character, were explored in the film Rush which came out in 2013.
