Competed in sportscars, Indylantic, European Formula 5000, saloon cars, and many other events, including often taking wins in a Lotus 7, but also was a race track design adviser, including for Snetterton and was very influential in terms of organisation and ideas, including setting up racing series. Until the late 2010's he was still very much linked to the sport through historic racing, but also ran a management training programme for young people. He also had a number of motor racing and karting business interests. Died in 2020.
