Based around the Manchester area, Bob was a larger-than-life character who was a trader of used racing cars and parts. Raced in a huge variety of events, including club racing, and entered a variety of cars for other people. Moved to Florida, but contracted skin cancer and returned to the UK where he sadly passed away. Bob owned a garage and workshop in Manchester but travelled most of the UK through his work. As a racer, Bob mainly appeared in libre and sportscar races and was often seen in a Lola T210. He also raced in Formula 5000, the Shellsport International Series, British Formula Atlantic and the Aurora F1 series.
