Still lives in Lancashire, in nearby Blackburn. Runs a garage there and has been involved in the motor trade for his entire working life, becoming involved in garage management from his early twenties. The funds from this enterprise allowed him to race and he competed in a number of Aurora F1 and Shellsport F1 events, in addition to Formula 2. Warren also raced in sportscars in the early 1980's, always in his Chevron B36, in numerous British sportscar series. Booth was a fan of Chevron's and raced in a Chevron B42 in Formula 2 and Aurora. Booth also had a long-standing relationship with Lancashire based firm, Crown Paints.
