Raced for a short while in club racing, but didn't progress his career much more than Formula 2. Still alive, living in Essex and he formerly ran an investment company in Ilford. Bob was also a semi-frequent sportscar racer during the mid-1960's, more often than not in his Lotus Elan, which included a third place at the Guards Trophy at Brands Hatch, and fourth in the Sussex Trophy at Goodwood in 1966. Bob also appeared in the British Formula Atlantic series.
