Bailey was a garage owner who raced in an array of different series, including Formula Atlantic (and the Indylantic series), Formula 2 and the Shellsport International Series, often entering his own car, which was more often than not, a Chevron. Ken still retains an interest in the sport. Ken's son David also went on to race, specialising in club events.
