Sadly died in 2014, after suffering from Alzheimer's for ten years. Extremely successful in Formula 3, this shy, tall man started in hillclimbing, whilst working for Volvo Switzerland. He found his greatest success in F3, winning in both Europe and Argentina. However, financially, F2 was his limit, and a lack of budget, loss of friends in racing accidents and his introvertness meant he never moved on in both F2 or F1. Later worked on Swiss TV, before then establishing his garage, which specialised in US imported cars. Despite his illness, Dubler attended whatever events he could, until 2011. Jurg also built his own Formula Vee car.
