Ran Tiga Cars. Now lives in both America (Danville), where he spends most of his time, and England where he is a BRDC member at Silverstone. Also plays golf in his spare time. A hard trying driver, who worked as a mechanic at McLaren and as a crew chief in Can-Am for Skip Scott and Peter Revson, Howden worked at his racing dream, saving the money to race in Formula 3. He enjoyed a decent Formula 1 career thereafter as a reward for his patience and doggedness. Howden currently is the president of the F1 Grand Prix Drivers Club, the new name for the Ancien Pilotes.
