Also known as Marie-Claude Charmasson, her birth name. Daughter of a rally driver, that was the discipline for which she is best known, after getting her break through her father's links with Citroen but also acting as an interpreter for the English teams. She quit rallying to race in circuit racing, including Formula 2. After working for Renault Sport as a press officer, she then became a motorsport photographer, which she still enjoys. Marie-Claude took numerous wins in the ladies class (including the Monte Carlo Rally in 1970), but arguably her best result was winning the tourism class with Henri Greder at the 1966 Rallye Lyon-Charbonnieres. She also took a number of class wins in sportscar races.
