Enthusiastic racer who ran the Bendor glass factory before becoming director of the Paul Ricard circuit. This led to him starting a rather remarkable career, in which he did better than most people expected. He ran the Paul Ricard circuit until 1981, before becoming team manager of Ligier for 11 years. After Ligier, he remained linked to the sport through his sponsorship agency and still has other business projects on the go at the moment.
