Better known perhaps as a rally and also as an occasional sportscar driver. Still alive and well, now retired. Occasionally listed as Chevannes, Bernard drove for a few years in British Formula 3 before moving up to Formula 2. He also competed in French touring cars in the 1980's. Chevanne was involved in financial administration, working as a liquidator and administrator for struggling or bankrupt French businesses. He worked across the country for many years, but retired in the early 2000's.
