Retired after many years driving in endurance events, including the Porsche Supercup and French GT racing. Now runs a number of businesses, including an olive oil business, PR and racing car experience events as well as a driver management agency. In 2015, he returned to racing, but in the historic side of the sport - but he never really stopped driving as he has often been involved in stunt driving for films. Won the European Formula 2 title in 1973 but the wins in his F1 career never materialised - bad luck often going against him, particularly in 1975 and 1978, and by the time he left the sport in 1983, he was permanently towards the back of the grid.
