Recently returned to Japan, after 11 years as boss of TOM's (Racing Technology Norfolk) British Formula 3 team. He took on a similar role with another Formula 3 team in Japan with one of Toyota's feeder teams, but is now in charge of Dome's road and racing cars programme, including specifically, their sportscar challenge. As a driver, he was test-driver for Maki who then attempted to qualify their car. Fushida was actually from a different background family-wise, as his father was one of Japan's most successful kimono manufacturers but took up racing as a teenager, sticking with it every since.
