Sadly died in 2021 after many years of ill-health. When Graham was well he was at historic events and he was involved in New Zealand Formula Ford. His failing health meant an end to his replica business, where he made replica Porsches. McRae as a driver was extremely successful in Formula 5000, in both Australia and America, and also built his own racing car.
