Now runs a car dealership in Brackenheim. Best remembered as a sportscar driver in a long career that spanned from the early 1960's up to 1990. Binder competed in Formula 3 and hillclimbs before moving up to Formula 2, where he spent numerous years and always entering his own car. He then became an Interserie and World Endurance Championship regular until he stopped at the end of 1990 after reaching 50 years of age.
