Team manager for many motorsport teams, in numerous series, including Brabham in F1, Spice Capris in sportscars, Dome in Japan in various roles and Renaults in the British Touring Car Championship, until the mid '1990's. Sadly died of a heart-attack in 2021. He also worked as a motorsport advisor and he also ran an automobile memorabilia stall. Son of the Gilby Engineering boss, Sid, Keith started racing at a young age, racing in hillclimbs aged 17. Most of his career was spent, naturally, in Gilby's, but he did well in sportscars and touring cars. Carried on racing until 1971. Amongst his other roles not mentioned above were Competitions Manager for Armstrong shock absorbers, team manager for Alan Mann Racing's British Saloon Car championship team, team manager for Rondeau, Richard Lloyd Racing, Nissan, Toyota and good friend Alain de Cadenet’s Ecurie Evergreen. Keith lived on the Isle of Wight, where he enjoyed sailing and working on model remote-controlled boats.
