Brother of Fredy, who did alright in Formula 3 and Formula 2 but once Formula 2 was over, left the sport shortly afterwards. Jurg ended up racing in Italian, European, German and French Formula 3 but never made the real breakthrough in any category. Lienhard completely left the sport and became a dentist. He still runs a dental hygiene business in Degersheim, having gained his qualification in 1982, although he is now retired from the actual profession.
