Very adept driver in Formula 3, who later had real success in touring cars and also did reasonably in sportscars, but his Formula 2 spell was all too brief. Started racing in 1964 in Porsche sportscars and only retired, 30 years on, in 1994 after racing in Peugeot's. Pino, real name Giuseppe, continues to keep links to the sport and follows it on television and at the circuits.
