Younger brother of Lorenzo. Filippo was much better known for his touring car drives but also won the 1976 Trofeo Alfasud Italia championship. Variated between Formula 2 and Formula 3 for a while. Both brothers were from a aristocratic family, one of the oldest (13th century) in Firenze who have a rich history in the city, with a theatre named after the family who were fabric merchants. Still lives in Firenze.
