One of the greatest motorcycle racers, with 15 world titles, eight of them in the 500cc division, Agostini raced on bikes between 1962 and 1977. He won seven 500cc titles in a row between 1966 to 1972 and likewise in 350cc, between 1968 to 1974. Later became a team manager for Yamaha in the sport. Remains heavily linked with the sport either through historic or current events. In terms of his career in four wheels, it was much shorter with less success but he did perform with great credit in the Aurora F1 series.
