Strong in Formula 3, where he was a multiple race winner and 1980 Italian Formula 3 champion, but Pardini also raced in the Aurora F1 series. Died of a sudden heart-attack. Locally he was best known as a businessman, whether in the family run mill, or in real estate, antiques and classic cars. By winning the 1980 title, Pardini became the first driver to win a Formula 3 title in a Dallara built car; at the time unremarkable, but he would turn out to be the first of many. Pardini left racing soon after his Formula 2 spell to concentrate on business interests.
