Excellent driver, who surprisingly, never made Formula 1, despite being strong in Formula 2 and British Formula 3. Went on to have a lot of success in Japan. Now a long-time TV commentator and broadcaster and recently returned to historic racing in 2012 after 19 years away from driving a racing car (although Elgh did race at the 2009 Dakar Rally). Elgh is also a driver manager, currently managing the career of fellow Swede, Marcus Ericsson.
