Was still racing in sportscars until recently, his last race being in 2003. Now works as a racing engineer. Barberio had a long career in racing but most of it came after his one-off race in a March 782-BMW at Pergusa. He competed throughout much of the 1980's as a regular in the World Sportscar Championship (or its various similiar guises) as well as Italian Prototypes and the FIA GT series. Pasquale started in sportscars back in 1973 and was often seen in an Osella or Tiga machinery.
