Again, better known for his sportscar prowess, racing from the early 1970's onwards. Now lives in Tramonti, Campania, where he is a local councillor and businessman. Giordano had a very short single-seater career, failing to qualify for the Formula 2 race at Vallelunga, racing a Scuderia Everest entered March 762 BMW. Alfonso also had a spell, prior to Formula 2, in touring cars in his homeland.
