Engineer whose expertise was away from motorsport and in commercial technology. Fowell was a racer before becoming a designer, racing from the late 1950's onwards, which included competing in the Nurburgring 1000km race in 1962. About this time, he started designing his first car, a Gitane GT Car. Fowell also designed the Sana Formula Atlantic car as well as one of Tecno's racing efforts. His real name was actually Ian and he achieved real success in designing and developing the Powerjog running machine.
