Went from four wheels to two as he became involved as an aerodynamic consultant in Moto GP. He also worked in that sport as a designer, but also designed vehicles with no wheels at all, as he designed racing boats, including America's Cup contenders. Now lives in Buckinghamshire. He is now back to working on cars as he is involved heavily in the BAC Mono, a single seater supercar. In Formula 1, Jenkins worked for McLaren as a race engineer, primarily for John Watson, as well as his design work. Alan was also involved in the livestock industry for a while.
