His Formula 3000 spell in either a RaceTech or CoBRa entered-March 87B Cosworth was short and unsuccessful, which he came into after a family link. That was pretty much the main aspect of Lewis' career, although he did also race in British Formula 3000 and had a spell in Irish Formula F1600. Born Robert Lewis, Lee being his middle name, Lewis was a businessman who specialised either in car parts or management consultancy. Tragically died of a heart-attack on Christmas Eve 2021.
