Formed Motopro, initially an importer/distributor, but it now runs events and acts as a motorsport consultancy and analyst agency, in Oxted, Surrey, where Steve lives. Motopro have also been the official signage management agency for the British Touring Car Championship for some while. Kempton's finest achievement as a driver was winning the 1987 European Formula 3 Cup at Silverstone where he beat Johnny Herbert to take a surprise but well-deserved victory. Kempton also raced in sportscars for a while.
