Initially left without a drive, despite good Formula 3000 and single-seater performances, Jamie initially took up a role commentating on Eurosport, before returning to action, in GT racing in 2002. He raced in endurance events for some years, mostly in ALMS and the FIA GT series. Since early 2009, he has moved away from driving and is now running a racing experience school. Davies won the 2004 Le Mans Series and throughout his career gained a reputation for being an excellent development driver.
