Now mainly a driver coach and racing instructor, but also runs his Dragon Speed racing team. His focus on this led to his racing retirement at the end of 2012, however in 2015, he announced a return to driving again, with his team, in the Blancpain Endurance Series. In 2017, he focused the team in the European Le Mans Series (as well as the US Sportscar Series) and the team won the title. Elton, who is no longer racing, moved the team up to the World Endurance Championship in 2018, where they remain in 2022 as well as IMSA. In 2019, Elton also moved Dragonspeed into Indycar racing where they remained until 2020. He is also a kart manager, and runs a driving school and performance centre as well. Also works as an editor for a Hollywood based TV show for the Fox network. Julian also formerly ran a casting studio in Los Angeles.
