Nissany was working as a real estate businessman in Hungary when he saw his first Grand Prix in 2001. He then took up racing and progressed quickly career wise. He was a former Jordan Formula 1 tester and WS Lights racer before his Formula 3000 stint. In 2005, he was chosen by Minardi as a test driver. Chanoch, for some while, raced in Hungarian hill-climbs, as well as rallying, and a range of other series in his adopted home country. He is still involved with single seaters as a driver coach, and for a while did tests, but he is now retired as a driver. His son, Roy, is also racing now and Chanoch helps him as well as working as a businessman. Roy earned a Williams F1 test drive in 2020 which has allowed Chanoch to visit the F1 paddock again. In 2023, Nissany unveiled a new permanent racing track in Hungary, Balaton Park, which aside from being a race circuit, has other leisure facilities as well.
