Vastly underrated driver, who never really had the budget or machinery to show what he was potentially capable of in F1. Was in sportscars and was also in the Grand Prix Masters. However in 2011, he had a brief diversion from endurance racing and appeared in Belgian touring cars. In 2012, chose to diversify even more and go into rallying. In 2014, however, he went back in touring cars in Belgium, racing with his son. Eric now has a number of roles in and out of the sport, but is no longer a full-time driver - his main role currently is as CEO of Tech NC' Explore, a fuel saving technology business based in Louvain-la-Neuve. Eric is also based in the United Arab Emirates during winter as a driver coach and director of a linkup with the Waldorf Astoria hotels there as part of their driving experience programme. As well as this, he also works as a racing distributor, and has other business interests.
