Modena businessman who came into the sport in his late thirties, wanting to sell engines, but this didn't work, so he set up his own disastrous attempt, named after the English version of his surname. The Life project was immensely ambitious, with a Franco Rocchi designed W12 engine, a good driver in Gary Brabham and experienced mechanics. However the engine developed serious cooling issues and the whole project failed miserably very quickly thereafter. Since Formula 1, Vita has kept a low profile with very few appearances. However he still remains involved in the car industry and is working on an electric-powered sportscar.
