Designer who came from FIAT, he stayed in F1 until 1966, as an engineer and developer for Serenissima. He had a long career in the sport, starting with FIAT in 1924. This came after he graduated as a mechanical engineer in Switzerland. After FIAT, he followed Vittorio Jano to Alfa Romeo and then to Stabilimenti Farina, before settling at Ferrari. He worked on the Tipo 815, before moving to Maserati, where he had some involvement with the iconic Maserati 250F. Alberto then worked for Stanguellini, de Tomaso, Moretti motorcycles and then finally Serenissima and their engine development.
