A graduate of mechanical engineering from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Enrico joined Ferrari straight after graduation, starting initially as a simulation specialist in 2000. Three years later he moved on the engine division of the firm and became involved in the design department for engine combustions in 2008. He then became head of engine reliability, then design and development before becoming the firm's head of Power Units in 2019. Enrico also played football at grassroots level and is a keen fan of Modena FC and also likes to go mountain walking.
