Ran the Lucchini High Performance Steel business, which had been in the family for decades, before it was bought out by a Russian company in 2010. However, Beppe is involved in a number of other businesses, including some under the Lucchini name. Beppe also ran a team, which had the same name as his F1 outfit in 1993; initially in sportscars, but in Italian touring cars and even more recently, in the Michelin Le Mans Cup. Lucchini also collects vintage road cars and runs a vintage motor club. Was initially involved in the sport as a shareholder in historic and sportscar racing teams and then in rallying before attempting his own crack at F1.
